Almost a month and a half has passed since Uganda went to the polls in what many have described as a sham election.

It is deeply unfortunate that since then, the home of our president, Bobi Wine (H.E. Kyagulanyi), has remained under military invasion.

What greater abuse of power can a nation endure than this?

This continued occupation only exposes the regime’s lack of confidence in the very process it conducted. A government that trusts its own election would not fear its strongest opponent.

We therefore demand, without hesitation or delay, that the military vacate H.E. Kyagulanyi’s residence immediately.

40 days ago, Museveni yet again usurped the will of the people of Uganda and declared himself winner of a sham election on gunpoint. The military continues to surround and occupy my home. Museveni’s criminal son continues to issue threats against me and other Ugandans opposed to his father's illegitimate rule. Yesterday, they did the unthinkable and blocked prayers at Lubaga Cathedral. Amidst all this, I am sending this message to all of us to continue being resilient and exercise the highest level of faith that our country will be free. I thank every Ugandan who has protected me from the evil criminals over the past 40 days.
