Cambodia’s PM Hun Manet says Thailand is still occupying Cambodian territory despite a Trump-brokered ceasefire, calling the situation “fragile” and a “violation of our sovereignty.”

In an interview in Washington, Hun Manet said:

We still have Thai forces occupying deep into Cambodian territory in many areas.

This is not an accusation but it’s a statement of the facts on the ground.

NOTE: Thailand denies occupying territory, saying it is maintaining agreed troop positions.

Cambodian authorities say that location is not a casino at all, it is a Pursat border police post (Route 56) inside Cambodian sovereignty, and they’ve called the Thai reporting false. The photos being circulated also look consistent with an official Cambodian police post, which makes the “casino weapons cache” framing look like narrative building, not basic fact checking.
