@MrChewie@lucyxwilliams In the same situation as you. Do you know if the new government guidance on getting developers to fix fire safety issues applies to us? Technically B1 means ‘no remediation needed’
@LiamSpender Thanks a lot! This is the best assessment I have read. A question about ‘B1’ rating. No remediation works are needed under gov guidance yet our insurance premium went up by £200k per year. Sub 18m block, built in 2017. Is there a way to get the developer to be responsible?
@LKPleasehold@mtpennycook Do you have a view on what will happen to those with "b1" rating? "no remedial works needed" yet we pay £200k/year for insurance premium because of "high risk" (2017 newbuild in london). Is "b1" the new loophole for developers to get out of responsibility?
@joeandthejuice seriously sort your customer service out! Ordered a coffee on the app, turns out machine is out. No refunds, no credits! But the store is happy to give something else as long as it’s cheaper than the coffee I ordered 🤢
Nicole was a dear neighbour. Her kids play with my dog and help train her. The most wonderful little humans. The world indeed feels insanely bleak and meaningless right now. We’ve been working hard to raise some money for the kids and I would appreciate if you consider helping
My cousin Nicole Hurley was murdered by her partner this weekend.
The world feels so bleak right now, I know.
If you can support her four kids who have been left with nothing, it might make the world feel a little less bleak to them. Thank You. https://t.co/ihk08JIwkf
A bit late to the game but absolutely love this! We owe the covid vaccines to @kkariko and her relentless pursuit of mRNA vaccine technology for the past 20+ years
Incredibly grateful and awed after getting to speak with
@kkariko earlier today, one of the recipients of this year's William B. Coley Award, the @CancerResearch Institute's highest scientific honor. [A Thread]
Dear Sir; my team & my animals are stuck at airport circle. We have a flight waiting. Can you please facilitate safe passage into the airport for our convoy? @suhailshaheen1 We are an NGO who will come back to Afghanistan but right now I want to get everyone out safely. 🙏🏼
First experience using @OpenRent as a landlord, completely blown away! 6 offers from 10 viewings within 4 days of posting the ad. More importantly, all tenant applicants were absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to deal with (completely opposite of real estate agencies).
‘Obscene and scandalous’: costly service charge ‘errors’ by housing associations and private landlords anger UK residents, sparking calls for formal investigation. My latest piece drawing on insights from 80+ leaseholders, homeowners and tenants @FT
