This Sunday, October 1, Ukraine will mark the Day of its Defenders, for the first time on a new date. This day is devoted to everyone who fights for our nation, everyone who adds to Ukraine’s strength, and everyone who has given their life for Ukraine.

On this day, Ukraine will pause for a minute. To honor those who gave their lives in defense of our country and people. May this become our new tradition.

Congrats to Simone Biles. She just won her 8th national all-around title.

She is the first American gymnast EVER to do this.

The 26-year-old Biles could have quit years ago after the trauma she suffered by being sexually abused by doctor Larry Nassar.

Instead the 4’8” woman fought through the pain, agony and emotional terror to do something no American gymnast has ever done before.

UPDATE on the FBI shooting of Craig Robertson, who had made numerous death threats against Joe Biden, Alvin Bragg, Kamala Harris, the FBI and other

According to Robertson's neighbors:

Dozens of FBI agents with tactical gear showed up at Robertson's home between 6-6:30 AM. They lined up in front of Robertson's door, and using a megaphone, ordered him to exit with his hands up. Robertson, who previously threatened the FBI on social media, by stating “Hey FBI, you still monitoring my social media? Checking so I can be sure to have a loaded gun handy in case you drop by again,” did not open up.

The police then attempted to break through his front door, which was extremely heavy. They couldn’t break it open, so they used a breaching vehicle to break a window. That’s when neighbors heard the first shots.

One neighbor told the DeseretNews, after hearing initial gun shots, “[I heard] them yell ‘shots fired, shots fired. He has a gun!’ And then a whole bunch more shots,” “They were all shooting at the same time ... and at that point in time, I was in get-my-kid mode.”

I know there are a lot of people who are somehow trying to blame this on the FBI and trying to make Robertson look like an innocent victim here.

To me that certainly doesn't seem to be the case. I would agree that the FBI should release body cam footage as well as a statement on what happened, but people need to stop jumping to conclusion based on the narrative that they want to be true.

People of all political beliefs can be bad. There are bad Republicans, bad Democrats, bad FBI agents and bad people who don't give a crap about politics. Stop creating narrative as some way to earn points for your team.
