@Noahpinion Noah, read your chart with me: The "lines" show capacity shares and add up to 100%, every year. As you add solar and wind capacity, the "lines" of all others go down, even hydro. That's it! What do the "lines" do when the sun does not shine, the wind does not blow?

@PeteRose1 @nuclearny The contract's bid quantity is 95% of the line's capacity. But there are limited assurances on when and how much will be delivered. ISO-NE's experience is that the line goes dark on the coldest days. Minimum Delivery Requirement is all NY gets:
