Though like many others I resisted the idea of Gods wrath, eventually I came to think I would not want a God who wasn't wrathful at the sight of the world's evil. God isn't wrathful in spite of being love. God is wrathful because God is love.-See M. Volf
“He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting. You make darkness, and it is night.” Psalm 104:19–20
Reset your mind.
Darkness has a Maker.
Sunsets have a Time-Keeper.
The moon is made.
Nothing is merely automatic.
I believe that nothing is more often misdiagnosed than our homesickness for Heaven. We think that what we want is sex, drugs, alcohol, a new job, a raise, a doctorate, a spouse, a large-screen television, a new car, a cabin in the woods, a condo in Hawaii. What we really want is the person we were made for, Jesus, and the place we were made for, Heaven. Nothing less can satisfy us.

If you are suffering, depressed, and see only darkness today - you are not alone. Remember:
- Jacob’s limp
- Joseph’s tears
- Job’s agonies
- David’s Psalms
- Elijah’s desire to die
- Hannah’s weeping
- Jeremiah’s lamentations
- Paul’s thorn
- Jesus in Gethsemane
You were handpicked by God for the epic assignment masked by what seems like a normal Tuesday, to show others there are still good people in this world. Let kindness bloom wild and free and unrestrained today, friend.
Hope for when you aren’t sure if you can press through one more hard situation...
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10
