My (somewhat) deep dive on alignment.
You don’t need to have perfect aim in that, the club doesn’t have to be perfectly aimed at the target and the body perfectly parallel to that line. Many pros aim away from the target and let their shape go to the finish target. There are some that aim at their target and hit push draws or pull cuts. But you should know where you are aiming. Well duh?
Thing is, many amateurs THINK they’re aiming at the intended target but because of their poor swings, I see ams aim way (usually) left to adjust for their slice without realizing. What’s very interesting is that their brain knows that they are aimed off and their over the top gets worse. I’ve seen it time and time again. My “drill” on the next post

My mom died weak and frail of pneumonia at 76
She ate well, everything home cooked, she wasn’t overweight
But she had sarcopenia and osteopenia from a sedentary post retirement life
The decline accelerated after 65
I couldn’t get her active, but maybe I can you
