We cooked and served our staff lunch for #TeacherAppreciationWeek They were thankful that we did the cooking and extra thankful to just have some space to connect with peers. Admin: what are some ways you are honoring your teachers?
How do you help yourself (and others) to zoom out from the daily grind and say “we are STILL in the middle of a global pandemic so we are doing pretty good” ??
I’m hearing from many parents about how teachers are performing heroically in difficult and scary times to provide comfort, humor, empathy, and instruction. Teachers are always superheroes. Now they seem to have even another gear of awesomeness. They are the best of #WhatUnitesUs
Our DelSesto family has suffered another tragic loss this week when a member of our faculty suddenly passed. We are once again asking our community for support - his spouse and young children need us. Please consider giving or sharing anything you can. @DelSestoMiddle

As educators, we should be an example to our students. We should read; we should be curious; we should learn and be willing to grow; we should open ourselves up to new ideas.
If we see the world in exactly the same way we did 5 years ago, we’re not doing it right.
My first school year as an administrator concluded today. An amazing experience and I am glad I chose this pathway. A big take away: a good leader needs to listen more than they speak. On to summer planning!
What are your science teachers doing to incorporate hands on activities or labs through distance learning with the inequity of access to supplies at home? Any good resources out there? #distancelearning#science
We made it through a week of distance learning. What has surprised you? I’ve been impressed with how all members of our school community have pulled together to make it successful @coventryschools#asfms
