If you truly need a laugh today, watch this classic to the very end. The very end. You think you know it, but watch to the end.

@ErwanLeCorre When she had political dinner parties she would have practice dinners with her staff to prepare ahead of time.
To practice eating dinner and chatting
@d_feustel@PlusEVAnalytics Remember the movie Blow, when Johnny Depp’s character introduces his main buyer to his drug source? Yeah, better to keep separate transactions. BTC fees are minuscule, if always wash through a hot wallet (even CashApp is fine).
@normonics So many uses of probability are illegitimate. My favorite is sports, where human activity is treated as statistical by “analytics” (a funny term to be sure).
@dezgoldie@cshan159 Yes for sure. A great example is relationships - you don’t want an unbalanced energy input where you’re doing 90% of the work (except as a parent). Especially in things like dating and corporate stuff you don’t want to be a try hard. Is that what you’re getting at?
@dezgoldie@cshan159 Yes I wonder if it’s less indifference and maybe more maturity about not being results oriented. In fields like trading and poker we learn not to be results oriented (“Rotty”) and it applies to lots of things.
@Paulnternet Ah I play without any of that excitement. I take horrific bad beats and don’t react, on to the next hand. @JustinBonomo is my spirit animal, I call it playing in “Bonomode” and it keeps me chill. Tournaments have their own structure to keep the mind engaged.
Davidov is right, and only mistaken that Trump cares about money not human lives. No, Trump is a sincere isolationist with a 'realist' (i.e. immoralist) political philosophy—a catastrophe for the world.
But Harris is an appeaser which is an even worse imminent catastrophe.
