@SpeedcaTpros @MattyWTF1 I do not doubt that one bit. Checo wasn’t happy about being asked to let Max past. May have decided to take it into his own hands at next race.
@nerraza@wearetherace Verstappen would totally be justified being miffed about this. And the insinuation that other drivers outside of RB would care about Checo screwing over max is laughable. Drivers are independent contractors who could care less about other team dynamics.
@nerraza@wearetherace Ok, please find me another unforced error in qualifying at Monaco Turn 8. Literally one of the slowest speed corners in all of F1. Somehow Checo makes it into Q3, in his 11th Monaco GP and bins it somewhere that no one else does without traffic.
Verstappen's team order snub was, effectively, revenge for an incident earlier this season: Perez's crash in Monaco qualifying. Checo feels let down. The tension it caused was obvious. Red Bull says matter resolved and Max will help in Abu Dhabi if needed: https://t.co/citDvyeKdq
Once upon a time I was thinking - “I wonder how it will feel when (and if) Max dominates F1 the way Hamilton does”
I had no idea things were going to swing into Verstappen’s favor as rapidly as they did!
And it feels as good as I hoped it would 😎
