Engagement baiting is when you choose to leave anything just to pretty much annoy the shit out someone. In monetized platforms such as X, YouTube, Instagram, and Tiktok the engagement whether good or bad still means people are glued enough to leave a comment, like, share, or even follow. Higher engagement means more money if the person is monetized. No engagement means that content has a low chance of catching virality on the platform thus the content dies.

Took a gander on Reddit earlier and learned that Limp Bizkit's "Significant Other" just recently turned 27 years old. I remember buying this album at Warehouse Music a couples weeks after its release.
