Water discharge in Golain Nalla is very high which hurdles the Restoration work. The community has only one road to link with rest of District which was damaged by GLOF event.

"Reducing Plastic waste initiatives", Relief Department KP banned use on Plastic Bags and to encourage use of Paper or Cloths Bags in all their offices i.e. Relief, PDMA-PARRSA, Rescue 1122 and Civil Defence.

Heavy machinery has been mobilised to clear the following roads by C&W Department Chitral:-

1. Booni-Mastuj Road
2. Chitral-Garamchashma Road
3. Bumburate-Ayun Road

Machinery reached to their locations work will be started as and when #snowfall stops.

Deputy Commissioner Chitral @MahsudKhurshid personally visitited damaged portion of Chitral-Garamchashma road.

Heavy machinery of C&W Chitral is also enroute clearing the roads from Chitral to Garamchashma. The road will be cleared today.

Earlier the dozer could not be able to clear the large boulders, therefore, an excavator has also been engaged by the C&W Deptt, in the removal / clearance of boulders from Chitral-Garamchashma Road. Work is still going on at night in harsh climatic conditions.

Avalanche at Makalbodu (Chitral-Garamchashma) road has been cleared by the C&W Department Chitral, today. XEN C&W Department Chitral personally supervised the clearance of road operation. The road is now open for vehicular traffic.

1: Lawari Tunnel 11 Inch (Road open for traffic)
2: Ursoon Valley 4 Inch (Road partially blocked)
