We are pleased to confirm that Conor Devlin (Ard Bó) has been appointed Captain of the Tyrone U20 Football team for 2026, with Conall Sheehy (An Chorr Chríochach) named as Vice-Captain.
Both players bring valuable experience to the panel, having previously tasted success at Ulster and All-Ireland Championship level with Tyrone, while also delivering consistently strong performances with their respective Club senior teams.
Their understanding of championship football, combined with high standards and leadership within the group, makes them well suited to guide this squad through the season ahead.
Well done to all three St Patrick’s Mullinahoe teams who represented the school today.
Our Camoges were in Eglish at the @AllianzIreland CnmB Camogie Finals, & our boys and girls football teams who were at our CnmB Section for Tyrone Finals Day.
All three teams did us proud. 😊
Two great days of action packed football for St Patrick’s Mullinahoe boys. Thank you to both @StpetersMoor and @sttreasps for the invite to their tournaments and the great hospitality shown. They were two very well organised and well run tournaments.

Very proud of my daddy! Nobody could match his loyalty and dedication! He’ll give out to me for posting this… he doesn’t like the praise… but nobody deserves it more! @MickeyMoynagh ❤️
Dear Parents/Guardians, at this point we plan for St Patrick’s to be open as normal tomorrow. The school currently has heat and electricity.
We know some households may have been, or may still be, without power so don’t worry about uniforms for tomorrow.

The Team at TTM are saddened to learn of the passing of the simply wonderful Jody Gormley RIP. Our condolences to his immediate family and friends and every single Red both inside and outside the county who mourn his passing.

What we see in the @ONeills1918 U20 Hurling Championship is great games like last night in front of 20,000 people. What we don’t see is leaving cert and early year college students, lads new to work and jobs, coming together in October/November to compete for a place on the panel. Early morning training sessions, late evening training sessions, gym sessions, Christmas holidays are Christmas training days for these young players, there is something almost every day and it has to be worked around Classes, Lectures, Jobs, Study, Exams, Family and at no stage is there any guarantees, no guarantee of getting on the panel, if you do… it’s brilliant and comes with no guarantee of getting on the team and then it’s into a competition against the similar great young players, the best from their county, where the “no guarantees” get bigger and this uncertainty is met by each player with selfless commitment, work, effort, sacrifice.
How incredible are these young players? That’s what I keep asking myself, I am in awe of them.
I can say I was never prouder to be a Dub than last night.
Fact is, I am in awe of all the players I have met through U20 Season 2024. and Very best wishes to @Offaly_GAA for the next game.
Four easy ways to make sure children have a positive experience in youth sports:
Make sure all kids get to play. Nobody learns anything sitting on the bench.
Emphasize fun and learning over competition and winning. Plenty of time down the road when kids turn into teenagers to focus on winning.
Don't yell at the kids, Coach the kids! All yelling does is make kids more nervous. Calmly talk to the kids. Create activities that accomplish the skill you're trying to teach.
Finally just let the kids play...game days are for playing, so let them play.
Coach them in practice!

This is a brilliant insight from Siya Kolisi on the magic of coach Jacques Nienaber, ahead of his last game in charge of the Springboks in the Rugby World Cup final.

Lovely moment for young Aidan McDonnell..
Antrim Chair Ciaran McCavana gave Aidan the honour of presenting the cup to @con_magee's David Higgins after the OB Construction IFC Final in Portglenone.
