We saw the Sargent in Spain show this morning. A fabulous show and a picture perfect day in the city. Since we’ve traveled to Spain several times it was interesting to see how he was inspired by the culture, landscapes and architecture.

We visited the Palace of Pena in Sintra. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. On the way back, we stopped for lunch in Cascais a beautiful and wealthy city located on the Portuguese Riviera.
