@united @united delayed our flight overnight due to mechanical issues, then sent 15+ of us to a fully booked hotel. Hotline says no more rooms. Hotel says this has happened for days. Who fixes this? @UnitedAirHelp @USDOT @ThePointsGuy @garyleff @OneMileAtATime #travel #stranded

[Derrick @ddrderrick]

@united Our flight was delayed overnight due to a mechanical issue (10:20pm → 8am). You sent us to a hotel—fully booked on arrival. At least 15 of us are stranded. Hotel says this has happened multiple nights in a row. What’s going on? Please make this right. #UnitedAirlines

[Derrick @ddrderrick]

@united @united I already called the hotline—was told there are no more hotels available. But your team sent us to a full hotel anyway. 15+ people stranded. Hotel says this has happened several nights in a row. This isn’t acceptable. Who at @united can actually resolve this?

@pulte Thanks Pulte!

[Derrick @ddrderrick]

@travel_defender @FrontierCare Well they eventually credited my account and gave me a measly $50 voucher. Didn’t offer to comp for the hotel night since we were stranded at the airport and of course didn’t care that we had to cancel our weekend trip to Vegas where we lost about $1000 in hotel stays.

[Derrick @ddrderrick]

@FrontierCare what’s up with your customer service? A fully cancelled flight at 11pm from OAK -> LAS and the next available flight isn’t for another 24 hours! Are you kidding? You wouldn’t even help those on board your full flight find a place to stay. Not ok.

[Derrick @ddrderrick]

@pulte Thank you $ddrderrick
