Welcome to India 🇮🇳
Compensation to someone who lost their life in a stampede = ₹27 Lakh
Compensation to a MP or MLA for switching sides = ₹50 to ₹100 Crore
My poor poor country😞😞😞
Spoke with a married couple in their late 30s from Delhi.
They have:
₹3 cr: Flat (purchase value, 28 years of loan still to go)
₹80L: Mutual funds (market’s been red for 2 years, no growth)
₹35L: FDs (growing at the rate of inflation)
₹8L: Cash
On paper, they’re rich.
And yet they can’t afford to quit their high-stress jobs.
The flat is fine to live in, but the EMI never stops.
Every asset they own is either growing at 7-10% or not growing at all.
Millions of Indians are in this silent trap.
South Africa has one of the highest unemployment rates in the world with the rate approaching 40%.
Here’s why it happened:
• The government introduced race-based reservation policies in both the public and private sectors.
• Many skilled unreserved people left the country.
• Many foreign investors and MNC left the country.
• Private firms with 50+ employees were forced to hire based on race.
TODAY INDIA IS MARCHING TOWARDS SAME DIRECTION.
Quick Question:-
People say India is more FREE than China is
Having lived for 68 years in India I know
I. Courts don't offer equitable justice to all citizens
II. Police, Officials and Politicians abuse their power massively
III. Any Indian can be jailed for 7 days without being presented before a magistrate
IV. Any Indian can be interrogated outside the presence of his lawyer by the police
V. Properties can be encroached by thugs without the slightest recourse barring an expensive settlement or a long drawn court battle
VI. Citizens can be forced to wait for 20 minutes, 30 minutes even 45 minutes for convoys of ministers to pass through
VII. The Average time to prove ones innocence is 6 1/4 years
VIII. The Average time to establish ones guilt is a single FIR registered in 20 minutes
IX. Bail is decided based on wealth of the accused rather than the weight of the case. A Theft accused could spend 15 months without bail and a rape accused could walk out in 3 months with bail
X. Corrupt Politicians & Officials are so frequent that people now regard Honest Politicians & Officials as fools
Where is this FREEDOM everyone talks about?
(If you say "Freedom to tweet this" - I believe the same freedom is available in every nation except North Korea maybe)
Let us get inspired by Japan for its culture, America for its innovation, Germany for its engineering, Singapore for its discipline and Switzerland for its precision. Let us learn from the best in the world.
Yet, the irony is that some choose to be inspired by Bangladesh.
Everyone wants a mountain view. Nobody wants to carry an empty chips packet back.
If you can bring it to Himachal, you can take it home. The hills aren’t your dustbin.
You pay income tax only because your income is TRACEABLE.
Not because you’re rich. Not because you get world-class services.
Meanwhile, those with untraceable income may qualify for freebies and insurance from gov
Being honest shouldn’t be a financial penalty. #AbolishIncomeTax

Due date for GSTR-3B?
Where is General Clauses Law, hat states that any due date falling on Holiday or Sunday is considered to be on next working day.
I'm not asking for extension, but correct ✅ implementation of Law.
Yesterday Elon Musk tweeted in a conciliatory tone to Reliance and Mukesh Ambani.
A high powered US team headed by US Secretary of State Rubio is coming to India today and will be there for a few days. The sole focus is visiting the Jamnagar refinery and meeting Mukesh Ambani and his team to procure refined products, especially diesel, for the US.
Even oil rich countries like America and Russia do not currently have sufficient refining capacity.
Due to recent geopolitical conflicts, a lot of refineries have been destroyed or have become dysfunctional.
As I mentioned in the last post, Reliance’s Jamnagar complex is the world’s largest single site refining facility and is among the most sophisticated in the world.
It can process a wide range of crude grades, including heavy and difficult to refine crudes.
So America now needs India’s help, to be precise Mukesh Ambani’s help.
Mukesh has already initiated the process of building a refinery in America too.
Decades ago, Dhirubhai Ambani built the world’s largest and most sophisticated refinery in Jamnagar.
He was way ahead of his time.
And that’s helping our country now.
India doesn’t just need a regime change. It needs a system change. The current system is designed to reward corruption, protect the powerful, and punish honesty. Changing the faces at the top without changing the system will only change who benefits from it.
Indian taxpayers are literally paying twice for everything.
First through taxes.
Then through private schools, private hospitals, tolls, insurance and other services because public systems don't deliver.
And after squeezing taxpayers from every possible direction, politicians spend their money on election freebies and take credit for being generous.
They are spending your money and asking you to thank them for it.
We should stop treating politicians like cricket teams.
You don't have to support everything because you voted for someone.
You can vote BJP and question Modi Govt.
You can vote Congress and question Rahul Gandhi.
Politicians are supposed to work for public, public isn't supposed to work as unpaid IT cell for politicians.
The biggest problem for Indian middle class isn't lack of investment options.
It's that Govt keeps making every good investment option worse.
- SGB was attractive? Kill it.
- Debt funds had indexation? Remove it.
- Equities created wealth? Increase taxes.
- Want global diversification? Put 20% TCS.
Then they'll ask why Indians love buying physical gold and real estate 🥲
The current central government has roughly another three years left in its term.
If the government is serious, it should clearly explain what it plans to achieve in the next three years, broken into one year milestones.
Otherwise, it is better not to set any goals at all.
Setting goals for 2047 without periodic and measurable yardsticks is of little use.
There should be specific one year, three year, and five year goals.
It is okay if we do not achieve them on time. At least we would have enough time to make course corrections.
Without focus, yardsticks, and measurable periodic milestones, no magic or miracle will happen suddenly in 2047.
India is the only country that took on China in a short battle - Galwan. We lost 25 soldiers. China lost close to 95 soldiers. India is the only country that banned TikTok and continues to do so.
India is the only country to have taken on the US. Op Sindhoor hit US assets at Nur Khan Air base. Pakistan was hit hard and its American F16s were destroyed on the ground. We continue to buy Russian oil despite sanctions and trade wars.
A Nation that can take on China and US simultaneously for the betterment of its citizens cannot be detracted or perturbed by cockroaches.
