@BarakRavid First it was the Arabs, then it was Iran, next maybe Turkey… Israel has never been secure and it never will be. And now it is at risk of losing American support which has grown tired of the constant troubles
@nfergus The future is uncertain .. always .. anything could happen but usually not the most feared things. History never writes itself in a straight line
@SamKovX Maybe because in 3-6 months there could be a flood of oil hitting ports from all the floating inventory sitting in the gulf? Spot prices in December could be way down but the what comes after if production hasn’t been restored is another matter. Just an educated guess
@axios It’s a fight to the death. The IRGC seems to believe that Trump is boxed in but he might not care as much for a peace deal as they think he does because he is term limited.
@shanaka86 This would be called market manipulation in any real market. I was, since 2016, a fan of Bitcoin. But if it’s not a real market, then is bitcoin a real asset?
@Osint613 Trump is boxed in. The IRGC is boxed in. No room for maneuver. Therefore the only solution is a verifiable armistice and a climb down. Live to fight another day. Meanwhile the IRGC will need to deal with internal security matters for quite some time.
@mikeallen@axios@BarakRavid He isn’t 50/50. He is 100% looking for a reason to start bombing. The only thing holding him back is that the gulf countries are probably dangling $1 trillion in front of him
@MOSSADil Trump carries a grudge like no one else. And he doesn’t care about midterms or being re elected. He just want adulation and he won’t get it with the current state of affairs so you can guess what’s coming next …
@shanaka86 Not that it matters to the analysis but the 2000 internet bubble peak coincided with a famous Barrons cover story that detailed the cash burn rate of most of the newly listed internet companies. It concluded that the unprofitable industry only had 6 months of cash on hand
@epkaufm@jburnmurdoch@FT Between porn and social media, the phone allows for seamless substitution of relationships. Much less stress for the coddled masses
@Keir_Starmer It turns out that the “far right extremism” narrative has been grossly exaggerated whie we have allowed far-left extremism to spread unchecked. The centrist masses have caught on to the playbook.
