@JasonSorens Re "haven't thought through implementation," I don't understand how they can even *propose* such a thing with a straight face, when they get frothy about the purity of their anti-regulation principles in other areas.
Anyway, that's enough for this one ... ttyl
@JasonSorens Considering how clear your thinking is in the doc you sent, I'd think someone somewhere would smack down FSP "allies" who propose regulations that violate every libertarian principle. (I'm pointedly not flaming here - just trying to learn, and conspicuous errors are worrying.)
@JasonSorens LOL - I'm not saying Twitter has ADHD or anything, but that single mention of roller skating sparked the most robust fork on this topic so far :-)
@JasonSorens [I'm switching over to my non-work profile]
What the heck are FSP people doing proposing laws like this?? Is it the standard "hypocritical politician" stuff, or what?

A reminder: when I first called out Fox "News" in 1998, the president of NBC forced me to apologize on @MSNBC. When I called it out nightly in 2003-11, the next president of NBC - Jeff Zucker - negotiated what I could/couldn't say on MSNBC about @FoxNews with Roger Ailes.

@tedeytan@USDOTFRA@UrbanTurf_DC I can't believe this photo, Ted - how many times have I seen that scene, yet it NEVER hit like this, visually. Such an artist!
UPDATE (to clean up the public thread): Per my DMs, it all resolved fine - it all arose out of the window clerk having wrong info, which she dispensed confidently, sigh.
So, @Walgreens "Social Care" team is kinda biting the big one by not replying to my DMs. Re turnaround for COVID testing, website only links to the lab turnaround time sites, which are all MAX 24+ hours. So I get a test today, and the drive-thru lady says "3-4 days." +
So I'll miss the dr apptmt that requires a test, and @Walgreens will get its insurance money anyway. This is IMO a fraud. And I'm sure they'll say "But our website says [fineprint]." AND @WAGSocialCare can't be bothered to reply. My first big disappointment with Walgreens ever
Ironic that almost every other commercial during the Super Bowl was either for something that CAUSES diabetes or something that TREATS diabetes. Doritos ➡️ Dexcom G6 CGM ➡️ Pringles ➡️ Trulicity ➡️ Cheetos.
Highly profitable but sad cycle. When are we going to wake up?
