BREAKING
John Giles, the Republican mayor of Mesa, AZ announced he is endorsing Kamala Harris for President: "Our party used to stand for the belief that every Arizonan, no matter their background or circumstances, should have the freedom, opportunity and security to live out their American Dream.
But since Donald Trump refused to accept the outcome of the 2020 election, Republicans have yet to course correct. The Republican Party with Trump at its helm continues down the path of political extremism, away from focusing on our fundamental freedoms...
In the spirit of the late Sen. John McCain’s motto, “Country First,” I call on other Arizona Republicans to join me in choosing country over party this election and to vote against Donald Trump."
@allenskillicorn Oh, dude, you’re making me laugh. Used a pregnant woman as a shield? Don’t you have, like, a town to manage? Try doing some actual problem-solving rather than being a firehose of incendiary BS.
@allenskillicorn You think you’re hiding behind the wrongs done to you as a councilmember whose rights have been violated. We know this is camouflage. You want to burn down the town & govern it by the Bible. You want to make your interpretation of it the law & force XTianity on all. 3)
@allenskillicorn Who sues the town of which they’re an elected councilmember? You create hatred, division & chaos. This is part of your plan to take over government according to the 7 Mountain Mandate. There are other dots connecting you to CN but clearly the playbook relies on stealth. 2)
@allenskillicorn This is exactly what Christian Nationalists are telling their flock. You’ve been hiding in plain sight since you moved to AZ; I’m here to tell you that we see you. Christians don’t want the 7 Mountain Mandate foisted on them or USA & you’re trying to burn down Fountain Hills. 1)
I'm attending Americans United for Separation of Church and State's event, “VIRTUAL: Christian Nationalism: American Democracy's Looming Threat” - sign up now to join me! #americansunited https://t.co/kQbaSSOKlj
Jesse Leon Rodgers—founder of the “City Elders” organization—says that their end game is “theonomy” (a form of government in which society is ruled by the Old Testament). City Elders is tied to the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). h/t @KiraResistance 1/ https://t.co/tekTT2UZQz
@jennycohn1 Their site used to say they're recruiting adherents to move to cities and towns that can be taken over by Christian Nationalism. I don't see that page today. Are they recruiting and relocating people for these "jobs?"
Talk is cheap. Chairman Dick Durbin needs to do more than call on Alito to recuse himself from the insurrection cases. Durbin needs to step up and use the subpoena power to demand Alito’s appearance and explanation before the Senate Judiciary Committee!

Such an absolute honor to meet Speaker Emerita (and recent Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient!) Nancy Pelosi at tonight’s @azdemparty Hall of Fame event. Also want to give a shoutout to my campaign manager Jeanne Lunn who is in the ADP Hall of Fame! 💙
@allenskillicorn By this logic, we should deport all the people who cause car accidents and have "manhunts" for those that cause bodily harm. They're destroying this country! Right? #satirestupidity
