I joined the Delaware Courtroom Navigator Program as the Lead Eviction Prevention Navigator. The EPN program is one component of a multi-pronged Eviction Defense Project to increase resilience of community against the risk of housing instability and eviction heightened by COVID.

Less than 10% of renters have access to legal counsel. This makes winning an eviction case almost impossible, when it shouldn’t be.

It’s almost impossible to keep up with rental burdens as a minimum wage worker in Delaware. This harms the right to housing for working class Delawareans across the state.
