#ROSÉ's self-written and self-produced debut studio album 'rosie' scores the Highest New Entry on this week's United World Chart, landing at No. 1! 💪🔝🆕💥1⃣🌎👑❤️‍🔥
ROSÉ is the 1st Asian Soloist in history to top both the United World Albums and Singles charts simultaneously with 'rosie' and "APT"! 'rosie' sold an incredible 316k equivalent units globally in its first day, and charted in 21 countries, debuting in the top 10 in 9! It's the highest charting album by a K-pop Female Soloist in every country where it debuted, including the US! ROSÉ is the 1st K-pop Female Act in history to chart in the Top 10 of the US, UK, Japanese and French singles and album charts simultaneously with 'rosie' and "APT"!

'rosie' was released via The Black Label and Atlantic Records, and marks ROSÉ's first solo release after departing from YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023. ROSÉ wrote and produced 'rosie' with #BrunoMars, #CarterLang, and #OmerFedi. The 12-track explores ROSÉ's positive attitude towards fame and heartbreak in her early twenties. The album is powered by its lead single "Apt.", a collab with Bruno Mars and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Excl. US, topping the charts in South Korea, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand for multiple weeks! It was followed by the singles "Number One Girl" and "Toxic Till the End".

'rosie' received a score of 5.5/10 by Pitchfork and was praised by critics for its perceived emotional depth, strong songwriting, and versatile pop sound!

'rosie' broke a horde of streaming records in its first week, scoring 179,308,411 streams on Spotify, the biggest opening week for any female K-pop act in history! It earned 33,359,066 streams in its 1st day on Spotify, the most for a female K-pop Soloist and the 2nd most for any female K-pop act and 7th most for any act in 2024! ROSÉ became the first person in history to top the Global Spotify weekly albums chart as a soloist and group member with 'rosie' and 'THE ALBUM'! 'rosie' holds the biggest 1st day and week both on chart and counter on Spotify among K-pop acts, the first time in history a female act holds the both records in a year! 'rosie' charted 9 tracks on Global Spotify, the Most for an album by a K-pop Female Act in history.

In the U.S., 'rosie' debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, with 102,000 album-equivalent units, including 70,000 pure album sales, 31,000 streaming equivalent sales, and 1,000 track-equivalent sales becoming the highest-ranked album by a K-pop Female Soloist on the chart. It's ROSÉ's 3rd top-ten album in the U.S. following Blackpink's 'The Album' (2020) and 'Born Pink' (2022)! The Album also debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top Album sales and the Vinyl Albums charts and at #17 on the Billboard Top Streaming Albums charts!

In Canada, 'rosie' debuted at #4 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, tying for the highest-peaking K-pop Soloist Album in history!

In South Korea, 'rosie' debuted at No. 2 on the Circle chart with 253,086 units and holds for a 2nd week on the chart, selling another 137,213 units!

In Japan, 'rosie' landed at #10 and broke the record for the highest-debut and highest 1st week sales for a K-Pop Female Soloist on the Oricon chart this Decade!

In Australia, the album debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart, while "Apt." topped the singles chart simultaneously for a 6th non-consecutive week. It's the highest charting album by a female K-pop Soloist on the chart, after her previous top-two albums with Blackpink!

In the UK, "rosie" debuted at No. 4 on the Official Albums Chart, with ROSÉ becoming the 1st ever Female K-pop Soloist to enter the chart in history and score a top-five album in the UK, her 3rd overall, after Blackpink's 2 top-5 albums in the country.

In New Zealand, 'rosie' debuted at No. 3 on the New Zealand Albums Chart, and at No. 1 on the New Zealand Aotearoa Albums Chart, which ranks the top twenty best performing albums in New Zealand by New Zealand artists! It became the singer's first top-three entry with a solo album in the country. ROSÉ charted 7 tracks across the Official Aotearoa Music Charts simultaneously, the only act to achieve this since L.A.B. in March 2024!

'rosie' also has reached #8 in Austria, Germany & Switzerland, #10 in Lithuania, & Scotland, #12 in Poland, #14 in the Netherlands, Norway & Spain, #15 in Belgium (Flanders), #16 in France, #17 in Italy, #18 in Belgium (Wallonia), #20 in Portugal, #23 in Finland, #26 in Ireland & #35 in Sweden!
