Happy #WorldOceansDay! 🌊 🌎 We are celebrating the significance of our oceans and their role in supporting the blue economy and providing habitats for plants and animals. DEA conducts oceanic environmental investigations to deepen the understanding of these precious waters.
Our marine services team’s recent work includes surveys of offshore fish havens and rigs-to-reefs sites in the Gulf of Mexico. Through these surveys, we have documented the location, features, condition, and efficacy of 14 artificial reefs.🐠🐟 🐚
