The claim "holds in seconds" is only true when you realize that 5 minutes is 300 seconds (and thats optimistic) gee thanks @GorillaGlue for wasting my time and materials.
I have an interesting problem. Thanks to the @FCC phase out of copper if my internet is out an i have an emergency, im screwed. Hey @SenRickScott and @AshleyMoodyFL are you ok with this? Bring back copper lines or do something to improve service infrastructure.
Dear @youfitgyms and @NordicTrack please stop this or fix it. Im ready to unsubscribe and probably wont buy your equipment again.... I dont have time in the AM To run back and forth to my computer to rejoin when your equipment demands it willy nilly.
Does @publix actually think that this meat with a "sell by" date less than 24 hours ago (mar 21) is edible... It *WAS* red when I purchased it, it's a grey/slate color now (Mar 22). Can I ask the store manager to eat it?
Remember that many people like to be combative, find fault, etc. Sometimes its a good idea to intentionally provide them that "food" in order for you to be able to handle it, as opposed to getting blindsided with some nuanced irrelevant issue.
The routine/system that requires willpower will fail. The routine that requires motivation will fail. The routine that requires no thought will succeed.
What even IS productivity? Define it for yourself & don't let other's definitions distract. Getting more stuff done? Creating less anxiety? Having more free time? Knowing this can establish your input (what you do/don't do) vs your output (the results of input)
Have you ever wasted time on something that's supposed to make you better? What "tools" do you use that just create procrastination, like making lists. Cut those out and keep things simple!
Auditing your day (on paper or in your head) is always a great exercise. Did you avoid any conversations today that could have been addressed? It's never too late.
have you ever avoided a conversation? As a leader, a friend, or a lover. It doesn't matter, avoiding the tough conversation can create even tougher conversations later. I know, we're all guilty, but I also know that when I've bit a bullet / swallowed pride sooner = better results
Thinking about managing your notifications so you're more focused on your day (or the people around you) - what other apps can you silence so that you control what you're focused on better? For me, not using an email app was a huge game changer.
Social apps I've disabled notifications for because they waste my time with non-relevant notifications for "suggestions" include @Snapchat@Meta@twitter@facebook@tiktok_us@instagram@duolingo .... for your own productivity and mental health you should do the same!
Getting amber alerts (or blue, silver, etc) for 300 miles away is a great way to make the alerts useless when people shut them off because they're usually irrelevant
@Meta@facebook@instagram are so thirsty to be relevant that there are so many notifications to get my attention that I just now ignore them. No I don't know that random Becky that you're suggesting. @LinkedIn isn't much better.
Dear @AmericanAir ... as one of you gold level customers, please pay your staff for all their time, not just when the doors close, you'll attract high quality personnel to boot.
