I understand it was a pretty underwhelming season for UTSA and Jeff Traylor but they get the bowl victory and this dude has still NEVER had a losing season in his CFB/HS coaching career.

He is 53-26 at UTSA . Has won 3 bowls in a row (the only bowl wins in program history).

He also went 175-26 in HS. He only lost 16 games from 2003-2014.

He has coached 25 seasons of high school and CFB and has had a winning record EVERY single season.

Going from HS coach straight to the FBS while only having a few position job coaches at the P4 level for a few seasons is wildly impressive.

For a program that’s only been around since 2009 he’s putting himself in the UTSA and the state of Texas record books. Say what you want about a couple things, bottom line he’s a passionate guy and wants the best for his players.
