Video from a court in Jerusalem shows Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya appearing by video link and attempting to speak with his lawyer before Israeli court security blocked the screen and cut the connection, preventing journalists from filming.

UPDATE: Bolivian police have fully RETREATED. 5 hours of pitched battles between police + paramilitary groups against striking workers who fought back with stones and slingshots. The people had them surrounded from highway and nearby forests, this strategy forced police to flee.

Seven-month-old Palestinian infant Sam Fahd Abu Haikal never had the chance to take his first steps, speak his first words, or discover the world around him.
