Correction (May 9th) to the above tweet: the thread cited two separate pieces of footage. The FBI SECRET/NOFORN report — orb splitting, omnidirectional heat signature — that evidence stands. The eight-pointed star IR footage from 2013 does not. A credible counter-analysis identifies it as a flare on a parachute. That explanation accounts for the shape, the IR signature, and the apparent motion.

The physics arguments in those tweets are valid. The footage used to illustrate them is not.
