@Khalid57829952@TheSashaExpress Wish I could say the same. one day a discord im in just went a complete 180 on the game and its so ridiculous im still not sure if its a joke or not.
@euclicide top 3 were my picks. did consider the scythemare one, but being able to pacify for free when i need it sounds way to good. looks like it was the right choice stat-wise too. if the gloves at least had MG+ it might be a tougher choice since tired acts are often aoes iirc.
There's something so poetic about the fans super invested in Deltarune's "lore," ARGs, Gaster, Dess etc being disappointed in the chapter where Asgore's tunnel visioning into a cryptic case only hurts him, and finding answers doesn't fix or solve anything
@ArikGenerick FFTA is the perfect example because its a game the explicitly tells people to not just do one thing, explore the systems... and people complain that they can't just press the shiny nuke button every battle and have to explore the systems.
Watched a few videos saying they found all the secrets in Gameoverse. You didn't, you're not even close. For example, here's one of the many you missed. The palm tree is a direct reference to Sierra's 1992 Johnny Castaway screensaver.
I don't even think the developers of FFXI really understand how important the horizontal progression and systems they built were to making an MMO stand the test of time.
In order to curb DS2 backseating, one of my community members made an in-browser (no download needed! just controller and browser) system that takes a clone of my latest save and gives a chatter 8 minutes to show me what they want me to do, showing on the stream live!
@JaeGamez one of my brothers said this like way back in the ps2 days and since, i've probably picked female PC's like 80% of the time if its not first person or something(and even then...) when given the choice
@ILucasK this is a really cool(ha) and interesting idea so i assume a small but loud portion of the player base would hate it and complain until it was removed. hopefully whatever they do with 'open world' content wont have this problem...
The FFXI Return Home to Vana'diel and Discount Campaign returns on Friday, May 15! ✨ https://t.co/ZoeJLsg7UK
Additionally, FFXIV players will be able to receive a discount to the initial basic server fee for a limited time!
so mastering a level 25 job to get your peacock amulet or w/e is not longer as important as it once was
i haven't played much since the 99 cap and while i wont say it was all bad(the game needed some modernization for sure) it did lose some things in the transition.
gonna 'old man yells at clouds' this, but i think there are three problems.
1. the age of the game. people have probably been at level 99 longer then i have spent playing the game total, so that is where a vast majority of the experience is at now
FFXI's community is certainly very welcoming to new players but at the same time they baby beginners a little too much. If I ask a question I want an answer, not "don't worry about it until 99". Eventually I'll hit 99 and I won't know jack shit
2. the speed of leveling means they expect others to just hit the cap asap, where they have more experience.
3. im less sure on this, but a lot of the synced content seems to no longer as important as it was back in the 75 cap days,-
