In today's minor update, Valve has turned the urn into a King of the Hill style objective.
If no team captures the urn, it will simply "give up" after 75s and throw all the souls as orbs into the air.
Thoughts? π
Only one NA team remains in the Night Shift Open $12k this weekend, will Melee Creeps pull through for NA? Or will EU continue to dominate?
Day 2 (finals) teams:
- Abrahams π·πΊ
- Lowkey W π·πΊ
- Leviathan πͺπΊ
- Melee Creeps πΊπΈ
Tomorrow's bracket preview:
Roster update:
LordNM, Braeden, and Zirbzy will be playing for FPS Lounge in the Night Shift Open this weekend.
They will be substituting for Rocaine, Lomein, and Snakes.
The full roster will also include Hydration, Lefaa, and Poppers.
After Melee Creepβs shenanigans on DLNS, urn has been patched again.
Most notably, only a favored urn runner will gain a 35% resist boost until the urn is deposited. While depositing, the urn will grant a 35% resist aura for the behind team.
@Macisha02 Talking strictly about this strategy, the eggs seemed pivotal to close the soul gap. The souls on eggs do not count towards the team's soul count for urn. They used them to gain over 12,000 souls across the team and 181 permanent Golden Statue buffs, which was 98 more then FM
Melee Creeps bought 6 Golden Goose Eggs tonight, held a comeback urn hostage, which scrambled Floormen's heads and won them the entire series in one match. π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯

The Death Slam Invitational NA #3 main bracket is locked. Eight teams head into next weekend's Bracket, a double elimination finals with $10,000 on the line. This takes place after a 54-team open qualifier whittled the field down to four survivors from this past weekend.
@LightbringerO's competitive Deadlock draft tier list is up. Full article in first reply.
Seven: rarely picked or untested.
Dynamo: B tier.
Haze: A tier.
Public stats have all three in S. π§΅
Pocket got reframed harder than anyone on the list.
He used to be drafted for late-fight Affliction. Now he's an evasive creep cutter who steals farms, with Affliction as the finisher.
Full breakdown in the piece.
The short version on Bebop:
His base stat line is high enough that he plays "closer to a frontliner than a traditional pick hero," per Lightbringer. The hook is almost incidental at the pro level. Pros are banning him for lane denial.
