@Alf954 Basically in the new CBA your not supposed to have handshake deals as thats cap circumvention. Gary was so bad last year that this contract makes so little sense that its obviously cap circumvention. So the NBA is looking into it under those parameters

Since this is only eligible on 1-year deals New Orleans is on the hook for the entire salary for both years.
