After being interviewed extensively yesterday, and watching the media closely I found there is one fundamental question missing. The first question that must be asked by all journalists interviewing Palestinians especially those NOT affiliated with Hamas - “Do you condemn the butchering of Israeli men, women and children by Hamas terrorists in their houses, that our journalists have witnessed the aftermath of, on the ground?”. Everything else, like this entire interview, is whataboutery of people that don’t see Israelis as human beings. Viewers, listeners and readers should know where Palestinian leaders and officials stand (celebrate?) about the victims of #HamasMassacre
If you can’t condemn the butchering of families, women, children and elderly in their beds, you don’t have the right to complain when Israel retaliates. If journalists don’t ask that question you are trivializing unprecedented terrorism.
