Deadlock has had a complete change of direction to the art design due to negative feedback during Alpha. Here are some leaks from an earlier build

- Infernus is like OW's Mei, can skate like Frozone
- Kelvin is a boxer with guns in gloves, lassos and slams for ult
- Vindicta has AOE tether and DOT ability, unscoped Widowmaker-like shots, sniper ult does extra dmg to enemies <50% HP and extra souls

Someone with access to the Deadlock Alpha Playtest also leaked a lot of information via 4chan yesterday:

- matches last 40-50 minutes
- standard 3rd person movement, dodge moves with stamina and movement tech with dodge rolls for speed boost
- skills feel like dota 2 (1/5)

- 4 lanes, 4 towers each, final boss ends game
- killing enemies/towers/bosses grants "souls" (exp & money)
- defeating higher tier towers unlocks "flex slots" (more item slots)
- destroying enemy towers unlocks more railway control, restricting enemy movement (4/5)
