@zensroe Might sound crazy but I'm actually enjoying AC Shadows. Naoe is really cool and Yasuke is pretty interesting. Other than that you can't go wrong with most of the RE games. RE2 RE3 Requiem have great female protagonists.

Tbh in my opinion GOW 2018 was just more generic action combat influenced by Souls but it had Kratos and it told an amazing story which is why I played it.

@shaunlabrie 1. Control isn't as popular as GOW. 2. This game is completely different gameplay style compared to the first control which could justify the change in character. 3. If a true fan of control was mad about the change then they have every right to be.
