from the arirang theme talking about themselves only, tour prep with less choreos and less fanservices, the grammy boycott, fully relying on corporation to manage the whole cb is the beginning of something obvious
i'm sure the current bts management wants to rely on fans less and eliminate "woke" and "demanding" fans bc they're enough of it already, it's all what they dedicated to in their 20s. now they just can't wait to be selfish and focus on personal lives in their 30s
i feel like if bts wants to change things in their career from what it used to be, to focus on their well-being fully, they can just execute it. except unfortunately they're not good communicators. please give fans closure instead of doing questionable things abruptly like this

that one army who pointed out that bts barely addressing fans with the word armys and no "thanks to" for armys at the end of concert at the screen anymore bc they're trying to appease the gp is so spot on. this is the hill they're going to die on unfortunately. sigh
everytime i see the word namseok or 94z or whenever there's clips of them together as a pairing now all i can think is the chrisbrowngate. it gives me the biggest ick ever
Rumination afflicts many smart people I know. It's so damaging because it's a state of isolation and fantasy-- you're ideating about what-ifs that only exist in your head. Though hard, being present or future-minded puts you in contact with reality, which is the place to live
which is most likely for nostalgia's sake. would be amazing PR on their part for sure. already seen smth like "see nothing can stop them from being legends/idols of idols status after all they still get support from many popular artists bla bla" coming from their fans
chris brown and usher must feel above the clouds rn with the bts stamp. they got the one of the biggest music act with good rep in this generation wrapped around their fingers cus namseok happens to be their fans and willingly made themselves known that they attended the concert+
i know you've been practicing nonchalance, the ignorance is a bliss mindset since rpwp era began for your own sanity but i hope i'm not wrong when i guessed that you'd want to understand what we feel and move accordingly after this
the comments under chris brown's insta post and his fans' reactions in general are too shallow and utopian. they're SO supportive of their meetings and those idgaf armys are enabling them. well since they never lurk on here anymore i think that's it folks!
we'll eventually move on for sure BUT i would be lying if i said that what happened didn't leave a big permanent mark which makes me see them in different light now. especially namjoon. love you my dude you're a good person but that was an awful decision you made right there
i hope he understands the gravity of the issue that's been brought up by fans and won't trivialize it as smth like "fuck off haters i'll do whatever i want" kinda thing. the most ideal i could see him doing in this situation is just silent, really.
i've been thinking about how namjoon will carry himself for the next concert. will he address the elephant in the room or will he just be nonchalant for the rest of the day? knowing him i just hope he'd tone down his usual passive-aggressiveness bc it's not a good look
this is one of the anomalies that made me think everything from album-making, comeback, tour prep to music quality too rushed and undercooked. they don't even try to live their life for a while post-ms. maybe there are plans once tour ends that they felt the need to speedrun
don't experience the same struggle BTS had as the first to break the language barrier and be a global powerhouse in the U.S music industry and only start eating on the plate that's already served. But that's for another conversation
ARMYs are so annoying about the "no one shows support towards BTS opting out from Grammys submission except Tablo" thing istg. It's not that their peers aren't appreciative of BTS decision and shows empathy for what they've gone through all this time, it's that they simply+
Who are these 15,000 Grammy voters to decide which ones they think are "Asian enough"? Talking about "dedicated to those singing in Asian language" as if Asians who speak English don't deserve to get the nom
Just acting obtuse instead of admitting they're not ready to handle the truth that a lot of non-white artists in the past few years are growing and pulling much bigger cultural and commercial impact than their industry darlings in the biggest music market. What a loser.
Grammy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. responds to BTS’ decision to not submit their music for the 2027 awards, following the introduction of an Asian-focused category:
“I am saddened to hear that BTS has chosen not to participate in the Grammy Awards process this year, but as a music creator, I understand and respect their decision. […] I do want to clarify something that seems to be getting lost in the conversation. The Asian Pop category was created to celebrate the depth, diversity and extraordinary growth of pop artistry coming out of Asia. The spirit of this new category is to shine a dedicated spotlight on these important artists. More categories mean more artists’ work is recognized. It’s never to divide, but to expand who is recognized by our 15,000 Grammy voters. I also want to be very clear: submitting music in a genre category such as Asian Pop, or Jazz or Country does not exclude an artist from also submitting and being considered in the General Field categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Those categories remain open to any eligible recording, regardless of genre. Recognition in a genre category and recognition in the General Field are not mutually exclusive. An artist can absolutely pursue both.”

if we really want to talk about it, taehyung is the epitome of desperate social climber performative opportunistic kind of extrovert and not the authentic charismatic witty conversationalist type. basically losers idea of what extroverted, non socially awkward people looks like
the kind of tweet that is intended to frame extroverted people as superior just for nonsensical bragging (so you can feel good having him as your bias) and implying that people with introverted traits are inferior.... very immature and close minded lol
