@RNID no, not at all. I feel like I'm fighting constantly to get the same access as hearing people especially for doctors, dentists, opticians, cinema etc

I'm still struggling to get a gp appointment with a lipspeaker interpreter provides. My surgery will provide a BSL interpreter but can't seem to understand that isn't helpful for me (I'm not fluent) but will not provide the support I need.. 1/2

I want to see a subtitled film at ANY TIME along with my hearing partner and friends. I also want cinemas to stop wasting time on gimmicks like this and to focus on investing in making on demand subtitles a thing. Is that so hard for the cinemas to understand?

The GP might wear a visor if he/she feels comfortable - what do I do I do if he/she won't? Not that it's that helpful anyway with glare and muffled sound.
Any advice @RNID @glosdeaf @CfDHoH @LipspeakerUK? I'm worried if I push too much then I'll lose my GP practice...

@All4 why are captions not consistent on your programmes and why are they not added the minute the show is uploaded to your app? I'm deaf, that doesn't mean I don't want to watch every show in a series nor do I want to have to wait a week for captions to be added #deaf #captions

@4Viewers sometimes if I wait and keep checking, the subtitles appear a week or so later. It's annoying as we can't watch the episodes when we want but have to wait and then face spoilers!

@4Viewers The current programme without subtitles is Grayson Perry's Art club S3 ep2. I'm using a lenovo tablet and All4 app. Programmes vary, sometimes the odd episodes on a completely loaded series have no subtitles.
