We have reported this to the police.
We will continue to move forward, working for all people & communities across Lagan Valley.
Sinn Féin can win an Assembly seat in Lagan Valley next May, & we have real momentum in our campaign.
Together, we can make history in Lagan Valley.
Thousands of homes leafleted today in a canvass across big parts of Lisburn.
The biggest Sinn Féin has ever done in Lisburn.
As we gathered before the canvass, my mother and wife were subjected to sectarian abuse, and @danielbakersf and I were also abused.
The intimidation in Lisburn today of Sinn Féin Lagan Valley Assembly election candidate Declan Lynch and his wife & mother, along with Sinn Féin MLA Danny Baker, is disgraceful.
This abuse has been reported to the police.
Today’s canvass of thousands of homes was the biggest ever carried out by Sinn Féin in Lagan Valley, & we will continue to move forward & to work every day to improve people’s lives.
It’s hard to overstate how absolutely awful this framing is in just a 13 second video.
Football players aren’t responsible for domestic abuse, abusers are!
Momentum towards a united Ireland is growing, & the time for the Irish government to prepare is now.
Today, Sinn Féin introduced legislation in the Dáil to begin meaningful planning for Irish unity.
Across Ireland, more people & political parties are looking towards the opportunities & possibilities of a new & united Ireland.
Irish unity will unlock the potential of our island, helping us build a stronger economy, with good public services & a better future for workers, families & communities.
@JimGamble_INEQE On what basis do you believe a Youth Justice Bill that deals with macr/doli incapax/some other formulation that’s different from the status quo, will make it out of the Executive past the DUP?
The Ulster Unionist Party
• Believes children are not mature enough to use social media until they’re 16
• Believes children as young as 10 are mature enough to be criminalised
👏🏻 A packed room in Lisburn City Centre for the launch of Sinn Féin’s Lagan Valley Assembly candidate, Declan Lynch.
As a local councillor and former Antrim captain, community and leadership is at the heart of everything Declan does.
With your support, Sinn Féin can win in Lagan Valley at next May’s Assembly election.
@CllrDeclanLynch
To clarify what this means - the DUP, TUV & UUP believe that children should be criminalised at 10 years old. On the day Starmer announces children can’t be responsible enough to use social media until they’re 16, unionism believes children can have criminal culpability at 10.
@BBCJayneMcC Shame on DUP and the few UUP MLAs who signed this PoC. The PoC was designed to protect minority rights - not block legislation a party disagrees with. A clear misuse and abuse of power. UUP have 2 weeks to reconsider their position - pandering to DUP will do them no favours.
Sinn Féin can make history by winning an Assembly seat in Lagan Valley.
Tonight we launched the campaign to return Declan Lynch as an MLA in next year’s election.
Currently there is no nationalist MLA in Lagan Valley.
That can change next May.
Declan Lynch can win in Lagan Valley.
