Roberts joins the Gladiators after an impressive spell at Ilkeston, where he established himself as a reliable and commanding presence between the posts. Renowned for his shot-stopping ability and composure under pressure, he brings valuable non-league experience to Causeway Lane.

The goalkeeper previously developed through the ranks at Derby County, earning a reputation as a hard-working and dependable shot-stopper. He also spent a brief loan spell with Matlock earlier in his career.

His strong progression in recent seasons highlights his potential and upward trajectory.
