Moving forward, I explored the ComfyUI + SD 1 world. I learned how to connect nodes, use checkpoints and VAE decode, finetune images with the power of Denoise, KSampler, seed, inpainting, and create workflows for training models.
Mind-blowing! I won't lie; it felt like my brain was being filled to capacity with all this new knowledge. But hey, that's what makes it so darn fascinating!
Who knew learning could be this thrilling?
I want to continue training my model with my dataset until I reach a checkpoint where I feel the model is ready for the task.

Hi, Frens! TGiF!
IMO, metrics and dimensions are like peanut butter and jelly, the dynamic duo of analytics π€
Metrics are quantifiable measurements, like clicks, impressions, and conversions, while dimensions provide the context behind the numbers, like demographics, behaviors, and characteristics of your audience.
Both are like sunshine and rain to your analytics garden - together, they paint a vivid, in-depth picture of your marketing success.
So, get ready to dig deep and grow some killer data flowers with me next week!
Here is my cloned AI voice...
Nay or Yay - Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you!
Week 5 Notes - #buildinpublic
33 days in | At 30% of my Goal.
π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄
Summary π:
I had planned to complete my research and discovery phase by examining Yoruba artwork in the Modern Era from the 20th Century to the present during the fifth week.
However, I got sucked into AI and machine learning, much like Alice falling into a rabbit hole! But just like McDonald's says, 'I'm lovin it!' πβοΈ
But first, let me recap the non-techy. I explored contemporary manifestations of Yoruba culture through various forms of art that showcased modern-day Yoruba life.
This included documenting Adire clothing and modern fashion trends as well as exploring contemporary Yoruba music, entertainment industry influences, and finally, looking at how urbanization has impacted their cultural heritage.
On the technical side of things, I am pleased with my progress so far. The prompts I used gave the desired results after a few attempts.
I used GPT4 to optimize them before running them through MidJourney and Dalle-3. I even tried experimenting with Seeding, which was quite interesting.
Out of curiosity, I played around with image to video using Pika; after mistakes and consultations with Ben @bennash & Jerrod @OnwardsProject (special thanks to both of you), I understood that the more objects within an image, the trickier it became to control morphing effects.
This was when my journey truly began down the "rabbit hole!" I tried several prompts to explore wood sculpturing in the culture's style but failed, and I got frustrated.
So, went back to the drawing board and discovered I missed a critical step, "understanding how GANs work," which I highlighted in my initial findings.
Long story short, I discovered Stable Diffusion, an open-source solution. I was surprised that I can do text-to-image, image-to-video, and text-to-voice by training a model with my own style, on my own HARDWARE, with no limitations, and above all, 100% privacy! π²
So, I will be suspending all subscriptions except for OpenAI. MJ and Dalle-3 are great tools, but the next step is to mix Synthetic (AI) Data with "real" data into training to get that unique output with a piece of me weaved into it.
Moving forward, I will use stable diffusion XL with LoRas trained using my data.
If I ever need it, I will use Animatediff for motion, Amazon Poly for voice cloning, and Adobe Express to mix stuffs up whenever needed.
For my hardware, I have a set of RTX GPUs I used for mining ETH for a year or less (2x rtx3090 & 2x rtx3070) with an old B365 HD3 2-way crossfire compatible MOBO and a brand new Intel Core i5-9600K Coffee Lake CPU.
What is missing are PSU, RAM, and SSD.
Potential Hardware Config will look like:
GPU: RTX 3090 2x
CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K Coffee Lake
MOBO: Gigabyte B365 HD3
PSU: EVGA 1300w fully modular plus gold or Plat.
RAM: DDR4 min 32gb & max 64gb. I need VRAM
SSD: 1tb or 2tb Nviem SSD
Case: Airflow Super Tower - eyeing Corsair 4000Ds
Cooler: Not yet decided - Water cooling, I guess.
Although, folks claim SDXL can't run multiple GPUs. I will try a repo I saw: Multi-threaded GUI manager for mass creation of AI-generated art with support for multiple GPUs.

π GM, Xverse FAM!
Yeah, It's the weekend again ππ
My typical weekend routine revolves around visits to Playtopia, a quick stop at Costco, trying new food, and ending with a good bedtime story!
My son's birthday is in 6 days, and as I got on Amazon, trying to check out a silly yet expensive science experiment kit toy because he keeps bugging me about his science experiments...
Boom! It struck me...
Dads, are you building or buying relationships with your kids? How do you approach fatherhood and prioritize your time and efforts?
We all strive to provide our children the bestβ education, toys, or a comfortable lifestyle. We work tirelessly to climb Maslow's ladder of success for them and their Mom (yes, she deserves the best too!).
But amidst this pursuit of material comfort lies a crucial mistake - neglecting active involvement in their lives.
Have you ever wondered why Moms seem more connected with their grown-up kids while we Dads often feel faded into technicalities?
The answer is relationships. It's about consistently showing up in little ways, like dressing them up for school or being there during weekends as both cook and storyteller.
See, gents, it goes beyond mere possessions; they won't remember each gift given on birthdays but will forever cherish how we make them feel loved and valued.
Take a moment now... How did your own father make you feel while growing up? Some of us were raised by alpha male figures who provided everything yet seldom expressed emotions.
Reflect upon those daysβdid you truly have an emotional connection with him?
I once wore these shoes driven by societal pressures to earn more money faster, but clarity struck when my wife wasn't feeling good one day...
She couldn't read bedtime stories that evening, so she sent our boys to meet "Dad." And then I heard something heart-wrenching, a simple question from my son: "Mom, can Dad READ?"
In shock at hearing those words escape his innocent lips! I had an epiphany right then, the realization that somehow they didn't even know such basic things about me!
Instantly, I left my home office, transformed into my clownish persona, and led them straight toward storytelling bliss from that day on to date!
But how did I reach a point where my kids, who spend much of their lives with me, didn't know this simple truth?
Then, I understood the importance of stepping back to audit our lives and relationships.
From my experience, let us remember today's lesson: building sincere connections is paramount in fatherhood.
Money may buy comfort and provide worldly treasures, but it can never replace love and deep-rooted bonds between fathers and children.
So, as we navigate life's challenges on this fine morning, make your mornings count, too!
Create consistent routines not driven solely by career aspirations or financial stability but grounded in meaningful interactions with those little wonders entrusted to you, that priceless gift called family!
Let us always be present with intentional gestures like reading them bedtime stories infused with adventure, supporting their dreams even when they seem improbable, and embracing vulnerability so they learn bravery amidst the chaos.
These seemingly insignificant actions will leave impressions that endure long after we are gone - etched into the memory banks filled only with cherished experiences shared together.
Nothing warms the heart more than knowing one day, our grown-up children will fondly reminisce about those moments spent giggling under covers listening to dad's animated tales.
These intangible gifts of connection truly shape character, bolster resilience, and lay solid foundations for healthy future relationships for both parties involved, ourselves included.
Keep building strong relationships, Gents! Today, tomorrow & alwaysπͺβ€οΈ

Week #1 Notes π - #buildinpublic
4 days in. | Currently, I am at 1% of my Goal.
π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄
Summary π:
Week 1 was quite laid back as it involved more preparation and research.
I conducted a Twitter Poll targeting experts in AI arts, and to my delight, I received an overwhelming response from them. Unlike the CT community, the AIC community has been very supportive and nurturing!
During my research, I came across a generative model called GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), which, when trained with style transfer algorithms on historical artwork, cultural references, and data, can generate new artworks that capture the essence of various periods within Yoruba culture.
Finally, I got the following courses to understand the depths before I go on a prompting spree.
