🚨 Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to trace two 13-year-old girls who have gone missing from Bury.

Ayesha and Aeryn were last seen in the Ramsbottom area. Greater Manchester Police believe the schoolgirls are together after both going missing on Wednesday (July 22).

Ayesha was last seen at around 8am that day, while Aeryn was last seen at around 5pm.

🚨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿North Wales Police Appeal After Reports of Man Allegedly Filming Children Across Anglesey

Parents across Anglesey are being urged to remain vigilant after a series of reported incidents involving a man allegedly filming young children in public parks and other locations.

According to Facebook posts by Marie Rowe, who says she has been liaising with North Wales Police, the incidents form part of an ongoing police investigation. She says police have asked her to continue updating the public to encourage witnesses to come forward with information.

The first reported incident is said to have taken place on Wednesday, 15 July, when a family member allegedly witnessed a man filming Marie’s six-year old granddaughter and another child at Holyhead Breakwater Play Park.

A short time later, in what is described as a separate incident, the same man was reportedly seen filming three young girls at Isgraig Park in Llangefni. Marie also claims the man was accompanied by another individual and that both were observed watching and filming children in Holyhead Park for an extended period.

Since those reports were shared, Marie says numerous witnesses have contacted her claiming to have seen the same individual in several locations across North Wales, including:

* Holyhead
* Llangefni
* Menai Bridge
* Bangor
* Llandudno
* Porthmadog

She also states that a separate report has been made to police after the man was allegedly seen hiding in bushes near a school in Menai Bridge, reportedly filming children as they walked past.

Police appeal for witnesses

In a later update, Marie says she received a telephone call from Llangefni Police, who she says are treating the matter “extremely seriously.”

According to her update, police are urging anyone who has personally witnessed further suspected offences to report them immediately by calling 101.

She says officers have stressed the importance of official reports, as they allow investigators to review CCTV, gather evidence and help identify the individual as quickly as possible.

Awareness, not speculation

At this stage, no arrests or charges have been announced publicly in connection with these allegations.

Anyone who believes they have witnessed suspicious behaviour involving children should report it directly to North Wales Police rather than relying solely on social media. First-hand witness accounts and official reports are likely to be far more valuable to investigators than online speculation.

If you have genuine information that could assist the investigation, contact North Wales Police via 101. In an emergency, or if a child is in immediate danger, call 999.

The safety of children is something every community can unite behind. If these reports lead to identifying someone who poses a risk, timely reporting from witnesses could prove crucial.

We’re appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace 15-year-old Jack Paterson who has been reported missing from the #Airdrie area.

Jack was last seen in Airdrie at 10.30am on Friday 17th July 2026. Further sighting in Airdrie area on Monday 20th July 2026. He has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for his welfare.

He is described as 5ft 5in, slim build, fair hair. When last seen he was wearing a blue Nike tracksuit with yellow tick, and black/orange Yeezy trainers.

Jack also has links to Inverness and Dunfermline.

Anyone who may have seen Jack since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3857 of 17th July 2026.
