Just to show you how great of a businessman Trump is, he decided to put tariffs on a country we had free trade with. What's better than free? He decided that Americans should pay more for the products we get from Canada.

More recently, here in Michigan (Detroit). Canada built an expansion bridge from Canada to America. It's called the Gordie Howe Bridge. Howe was a Canadian and Detroit Red Wing hockey player who played for Detroit for 25 years. He was a 21 time all-star, a Hall of Famer and brought 4 Stanley Cups to Detroit.

Canada built the bridge at a cost of $4 billion dollars. Not one cent was paid for by the United States. Yet, Canada is splitting bridge revenue 50/50 with the United States. Trump keeps delaying the opening of the bridge, saying he is trying to negotiate a better deal for the U.S. What's better than free money?

Can you now understand the six bankruptcies and that he's never been a great businessman?

It created an entirely new category, overseas operations casualties starting July 7th, so those four deaths sit outside Operation Epic Fury altogether. That's not bookkeeping. That's resetting the sixty day War Powers clock so Congress doesn't get a vote until September.

Trump himself undercut the whole scheme days ago, posting the old eighteen dead figure on Truth Social before the Pentagon's revision even caught up with him. Then at Dover, watching the same soldiers' remains come home, he claimed they'd all said, strongly, that Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. According to his own administration's paperwork, the war they died defending had already legally ended by the time they were killed.

The wounded count is now over six hundred, up from four hundred eighty two last week. Hiding a war produced more attention to its cost, not less.
