Before commencement, the Hamilton High School Class of 2026 hopped on the buses and headed back to the elementary schools where it all began.

Uh oh… the Grinch tried to steal Christmas at Hamilton Elementary on Thursday afternoon! 🎄💚
He showed up at our Holiday Caroling hoping to take the fun right out of our students’ singing — but thanks to School Resource Officer Deputy Dekkinga, Christmas cheer was saved!
It wouldn’t be Holiday Break without this tradition! ✨🎄
Every year, just before Holiday break, the Hamilton Elementary staff brings the cheer with their legendary “12 Days of Christmas” performance — and it never disappoints!

Join us in welcoming Stacey Heneveld to her new role as the main secretary at Hamilton Elementary!
After having all three of her children attend Hamilton El and working part-time last year next to Kim Sale, Stacey already had a deep connection to our school.
What a school year. What a community. What a district. 🖤💛
We made SO MANY memories in the 2024-25 school year! Have a FANTASTIC summer, Hawkeyes! We will see you in August. ☀️🎉

A Transportation Supervisor that truly cares — that’s Kathy Dykema. ❤️
On Thursday, Kathy proudly drove her former kindergarteners — now HHS graduates — back to Hamilton Elementary for their senior walk. A full-circle moment filled with love, pride, and a few happy tears. 🚌🎓
Today, all Hamilton Elementary students had the opportunity to tour the brand-new wing for the first time! Made possible by the passage of the 2023 bond proposal, this new space will soon be home to our 2nd grade, STEM, and Special Education classrooms beginning this fall. 🤩
A great morning of tours in the new space! Students were very excited to see these new classrooms and learn about the construction process! Special thanks to Mr. Evan from OAK, and Mr. Craig from Parkway Electric for working with our kids!!
Six of our Hamilton High School Unified basketball athletes made the trip to Special Olympics Michigan today to compete in the SOMI Skills Competition! 🏀
The memories and friendships from this Unified basketball season will last a lifetime! 🖤💛

It’s not every day you get to meet your favorite childhood author! Johnathan Rand was (and is still) THE MAN! Michigan Chillers and American Chillers were my jam as a kid. 📖
Such a great guy and role model for kids! 👏👏👏
A great day at work.
