@Orwell420 @MonaChalabi@CrampedEyes Is that reply to me?
I was sharing my opinion. Just that in my opinion I’ve seen more coverage of Palestinian things than was implied in the post above.
How do you know it’s fact that you’re quoting anyway? Anyone can make a picture of numbers and post it.
@farhanagani11 @MonaChalabi I disagree. I think BBC has been very pro Palestinian and there are lots of Muslims, Christians and humanists at the BBC. I think they are very balanced.
@4noura@stillawake Are you supporting Hamas?
You know the war would stop if Hamas extremists surrendered and have back the hostages. As I understand Hamas want to eradicate all Jews, or any other group for that matter other than their version of their religion.
@philhuwedwards@SpeakSarahSpeak I don’t think the average demand is 37GW day and night.
Look here, it often drops as low as 20 GW every night. We’re a lot closer than you think. Take off nuclear, hydro tidal and solar and we don’t need much fossil fuels to make up the difference.
37GW is closer to peak demand
@ao_thwaites@GMBGarySmith@gdh1961 If we can use tidal power to make hydrogen we’d be able to provide about 10x more kWh of heat in homes than if we made hydrogen and burned it in boilers.
@GMBGarySmith The only dishonest thing here is the pushing of hydrogen boilers.
It’s going to be so much more expensive than heat pumps.
I’ve had my home retrofitted relatively cheaply by an excellent team of engineers from @OctopusEnergy and the heat pump is working very well.
@hipparchus2000 @HibbsA @Tytalus7@InstaVoltUK @ElecHighway And the labour government. Does matter if it’s this one or labour. Remember we can thank labour and EU for ‘clean Diesel’ and emissions scandal, that nothing was done about.
@HibbsA @hipparchus2000 @Tytalus7@InstaVoltUK @ElecHighway My argument is that if there is a space to park a car then there should be space for a charge point.
We need better cheaper solutions for public charging and destination charging by installing mass quantities of cheap 7kWh charging.
@HibbsA @Tytalus7@InstaVoltUK @ElecHighway I don’t have a problem with paying a premium price for a premium service if I need a rapid charger, but then more than 95% of the time I’m charging for 7.5p per kWh off peak, or solar.
The thing it seems a shame for is people without off street parking.

@standupmaths I saw this and thought of you. I’d just been telling my daughters about Pi at a pizza restaurant, and this came up on my YouTube feed. Looks like Pi strikes again!!!
Did you know about this phenomenon and is it true?
