@Super_Crip1994 Awesome! Hoping it’s straightforward. Nothing worse that being locked out of a mini game (and some game benefits like friendship and xp) because of lack of accessibility 😨
You going Scarlet or Violet for first play through? Team Violet here 🟣
@GarethFW If the building was fully accessible, but then the procedure failed to consider access needs id argue that this is worse...!
Taking something fit for purpose and rendering it useless, and adding back barriers is what businesses do every day 🙈
@CP_Consortium @Simplyemma2 Don't forget that #PurpleTuesday is also about being accessible online too!
No Alt-Text on posts about being more #accessible and celebrating #Disability isn't a good look! 🙈
@RachelCDailey Saddened to read that - a disabled actor just acting with no tragic ableist storyline and not a single mention or camera lingering too long it was exactly what we need more of!
@RachelCDailey @BlondeHistorian Performative Accessibility Awareness at best clueless Social Media managers at worst?
Image Descriptions are a big thing right now despite not actually helping as much as accessible design practices, contrast and alt-text...!
Bonus points if the ID takes 5min to find 🤦🏻♂️
@alexstewardd It's terrible event management, procedure and shows whoever got to contract for the event isn't good at what they do.
Accessibility and Inclusion isn't about one rule for some - another for others and a different one again for everyone else.
What's the business plan for improving accessibility? It looks a bit like this:
Invest in accessibility = including more people, and welcoming diversity. A no-brainer, really
