Honestly, as international fans, when we travel all the way to attend private events, we do it purely out of love.

We might earn more money compared to some people, but the cost of living where we live is also high. For every event we attend, we have to pay for flights, hotels, and the event itself. And sometimes, we also have to save and cut back on our own expenses just so we can be there to support them.

I think every fan loves the artists in their own way. We want them to have more opportunities, more work, and more public events too. We genuinely want to see them doing well and becoming happier and more successful.

But sometimes, because we attend private events quite often, it can feel like people start to take it for granted that we will always be willing and able to spend money.

But who gets to see what happens behind the scenes?

Who sees the meals we skip, the things we choose not to buy, the money we save, and all the little sacrifices we make just because we want to support them?

Before every event, we’re already thinking about what we should say to the artists this time. We prepare what we want to tell them, hoping that even those few seconds can mean something.

And sometimes, when what we’re trying to express gets lost in translation, or when neither side can fully understand what the other is trying to say, those 40 seconds are already gone.

There are honestly so many things I want to say. But I feel like, deep down, maybe we all already understand them.

The artists have done nothing wrong. They’re wonderful, and I know they get tired too.

But we get tired too.

We just don’t always show that side.

Most of the time, we choose to show our happiness, because at the end of the day, we’re here because we love them.
