We live in unparalleled times.
The opportunity in front of us is enormous. With the tools we now have, we can create almost anything, for next to nothing.
But with all of that opportunity, I'm reminded: I do not know what will happen tomorrow.
One phone call. One diagnosis. One outcome. Any of them can change everything.
So yes, plan. Plan well.
But planning was never the problem. The question is the positioning of our humility, and what we think we can achieve.
Because everything is in the Lord's hands.
And whilst money is a powerful resource, it's always been a poor master.
@sanketq The first version was the attempt.
The next 38 was the iteration.
The 40th was the output of the first 39 attempts.
The numbers go up sequentially. You donโt start at 40.
Friday is Playtime!
September 2022, unemployed
Dismayed and feeling lost, I decided I would get involved with one of the ministries at The Bridge Church.
At the time, I felt embarrassed and didnโt know what to expect.
I didnโt want to talk to the mothers or the odd father there, and I certainly didnโt want to engage with the toddlers (unless they were mine).
So I folded tables, took out the rubbish and did any heavy lifting and cleaning that was necessary.
Not glamorous work.
What I didnโt realise was this enabled the volunteers at Church to spend more quality time with the mothers and kids that attended.
I turned up week in and week out just โdoing my thingโ.
Sometimes the most humbling work can also be the most gratifying.
In a world full of democratised authority and peopleโs value placed on their net worth, itโs important to ground yourself in what really matters.
I, turn up with flashy AI content daily here, but had I not turned up to Playtime it wouldnโt have given me the space to reflect on whatโs really important.
Faith and Family.
Have a wonderful day - and try incorporate a bit of โPlaytimeโ when you turn up on social, because if Iโve learnt anything over the last few years - your profile is your personal brand, and what you and believe and think mattersโฆ
And as always BeProlific!
God bless!

Some time ago, a master potter was teaching a class of aspiring students.
Each wanted to master the art of producing beautiful clay pots.
The master, an artisan had honed her craft for years.
The locals in the village all admired and loved the pots she so effortlessly made.
On day one, she split the class in two.
To the first group, she said:
To the second group, she said:
Weeks passed.
The first group got to work, they made pot after pot.
Lopsided ones. Cracked ones. Ugly ones.
They failed constantly.
The second group planned.
They theorised.
They discussed what perfection was.
They waited for the right moment.
They considered the time of day.
The amount of light in the room.
They examined the clay.
They studied the wheel.
At the end of the term, a curious thing happened.
The most beautiful pots. The ones closest to perfection.
All came from the quantity group.
The quality group? One sad monstrosity that looked horrible.

The pursuit of perfection is through repeated execution.
Pursuit is the operative word!
Repetition creates the master.
Whether you're creating content to build awareness or build pipeline.
Sales & Business Development is a game of conversion rates.
Your activity largely determines your failure & success rate.
Post once, get nothing, no outreach - 100% fail.
Post 100 a times, outreach 100, get 5 meetings.
5% conversion rate.
You do this over and over and over again.
Your content creation gets faster.
Your outreach becomes more bold.
Your awareness and messaging gets better.
All the while, people are watching you fail, and improve overtime and become the master.
The problem with most people? They find one deal. One opportunity. And they try to perfect it.
Creating multiple opportunities is like creating multiple pots.
Those dozens of failed pots sitting on the ground that don't look great?
That's pipeline attrition, that's why you need coverage.
And those beautiful pots?
Closed revenue.
