Rail Nationalisation - is already turning into a pig's ear.

Govia/ Thameslink which was nationalised in May has been forced to cut hundreds of services from the timetable by the Department of Transport, to save money.

Ditto the West Coast's line Avanti which is about to be nationalised, has been told by the same Ministry to cut 12% of its summer services, again to save money.

It doesn't stop there. East Midlands Railway is cutting services ahead of its imminent nationalisation.

In the meantime, State owned LNER is splashing out on very passenger friendly stuff like sponsoring football clubs and horse racing along its' route.🤦‍♂️

Seriously, does anyone actually trust Civil Servants to have a degree of competency when it comes to running what will soon be the biggest Public Sector employer after the NHS and the Military?🤔🤔🤔
