This will be my first actual post, and all other posts will fall short of it, I’m sure:
Getting married and having kids is the greatest decision I have ever made. The love you give to and receive from your family is unlike anything else you can experience in life.
Socialism is an economic and political system where the the government owns and controls the major means of production.
So, the same entity running the post office in the US, would be responsible for everything.
Anyone who supports this does not have sound judgement.
Because that logic would suggest guards are automatically better because they usually do more things, better shooters, better dribblers, etc….
tony parker and manu were more versatile than Duncan… but I would never say they were better basketball players than Duncan…
because I think being 6’11” and coordinated matters and impacts the game more than a 6’3” player with a better shot or better handles…
Basketball arguments get weird when we treat “better player” like a checklist of skills…
Duncan may have had more variety, but if Shaq’s size, strength, and athleticism made him more dominant and harder to stop, that counts too….
the goal isn’t to win a skills competition…. it’s to impact winning… that makes Shaq the better basketball player
We should’ve beat pistons even though they were really good… Malone was hurt and underproduced… Payton wasn’t the same player especially in the triangle offense, which isn’t great for point guards generally… too much reliance on Kobe and Shaq, who had a bad relationship… it just felt like the team was ready to disband before the freaking series was over… a disappointment for sure
@hedgeguy78@HawkEmDownChris I think so to…. But then it goes back to does better player mean better career or just straight up who you’d pick in their prime.
@hedgeguy78@HawkEmDownChris I think best careers is different than best players. If you’re making a squad, who is on it.
I’m not picking Tim Duncan over Shaq.
@BeGreatBryson@HawkEmDownChris You realize LeBron isn’t actually a King, Kobe isn’t actually a venomous snake, and Durant isn’t actually a spider, right?
