One of #Berkeley’s less welcoming addresses. This building at 1915 Delaware Street has been empty for years — 10? 15? — and was a poster child for the recently approved ballot measure to tax some vacant residential properties. #housing
@BerkeleyScanner Cedar Rose Park's one is even worse! Particularly astounding if you contrast the @CityofBerkeley's investment in our parks with the facilities offered by the @CityofAlbanyCA. Their parks have beautiful bathrooms, mosaic artwork, new playgrounds, modern waste/recycling bins, etc.
This is upsetting for many reasons.
Oakland has bike lanes on Shattuck. They end at the Berkeley border.
We need protected bike lanes on this portion of Shattuck to safely connect people to Berkeley’s bike boulevards (Woolsey & Russell)!
