Dearborn STEM Academy senior capstone projects allow students to deeply examine a topic that interests them, in alignment with their course of study.
The Capstone topics of students in the HLS pathway ranged from forensic science to challenges in nursing.

@dearbornstem 10th, 11th, and 12th graders visited @MIT's Plasma Science and Fusion Center.
Students participated in hands-on activities and toured the Magnetic Fusion and High Energy Density Physics experiments.

Dearborn Early College Kick-off (DECK) launched this summer! DECK is a collaboration between Dearborn and FC Tech designed to accelerate student academic progress such that they can complete an Associate's degree, at no cost to them, at the time of their high school graduation.

But Aisha knew she wanted to pursue something outside of Nursing. Through her #EarlyCollege experience and other work-based learning experiences @DearbornSTEM, she found a passion for working and researching in a lab, motivating her to pursue Pharmaceutical Science! (3/7)
Meet Aisha Mahamud! Aisha is an #EarlyCollege student at @DearbornSTEM, where she takes college credits at @BHCCBoston and @wentworthinst. To date, Aisha has taken 11 college classes, and earned more than 30 credits! She talked to us about her experience.
