Made this for my friend- it’s an antique quilt top finished into a charming and useable quilt. One reason people didn’t finish their quilts was because their piecing was so imperfect that there were too many wrinkles to make it flat. Perfectionism sidelined a perfectly lovely piece of art. If I (as a human) can take an old imperfect textile, clean it and turn it into something sweet and useful (wrinkles and all)… imagine what Jesus can do with us!! Don’t let perfectionism or flaws sideline you… Let Jesus make you a new creation… 2 Corinthians 5:17

Hi pastor Jack, thank you for these morning prayer times. I have a few things to tell you! First, I have a place in the house I read my Bible and over the years the family gets up earlier and earlier, so I just stayed where I was and continue with the family waking up around me. I recently discovered these prayer times. Now when my teens or husband sit next to me as I read my Bible I play the daily prayer video from you. It’s great!! We are all blessed! Also, I love Jer. 29:11. At one point a couple years ago someone going to seminary told me it wasn’t for me and I was “using it incorrectly.” But I thought- God doesn’t change! How could it be that a promise of His isn’t consistent if it’s consistent with His character? Anyway… today as you were talking about how this verse is a promise to Israel but we are grafted in - and gave scripture to back that up I thought 💡… oh, like Jer. 29:11!! An then you used that as an example and I can’t tell you my relief! Yay for Jer. 29:11!!! 👏🏻🎉 Thank you!!
