@BenPopeCST lol please no. But could a lot of these interviews just be mining for ideas and scouting other teams' approaches? Candidates have to put their best foot forward and lay out the plan

If we have a God we completely understand, we are likely to have made him up ourselves. Bible talks about God as Father, Son, and Spirit. We're just diving in and trying to make sense...

@Stumpy84007433 @timkellernyc I say keep reading some of the places where the Trinity is said to be revealed and see what you think. Off the top of my head... Matt. 28:18-20, Matt. 3:13-17, John 14-15, 1 Peter 1, God saying "Let us..." as he acts in the Old Testament (Gen.1:26, 11:7, Is. 6:8).

@Stumpy84007433 @timkellernyc You're right, Jesus does distinguish himself from the Father, but he also claims to be one with him (John 10:30). Reading Bible carefully and grappling with the the way it talks about the distinct but inseparable identity of Father Son and Spirit is how we got this Trinity idea.

@KyleJamesHoward lol weird feeling right? I need to grow here—I experience annoyance when it begins (I still have work to do with wounds around being used for selfish venting)—but I KNOW that those times are sacred. They're not distractions from where I need to go, they're where God wants me.

I also believe that we learn about fatherhood from God and not about God from fatherhood—but, I wonder if most still have to grow out of applying their attachment pattern with earthly relationships to their relationship with God. What do you think?

- he gives a lamp to our feet (Ps. 119)
- when we seek the way forward, he shows that he is the way (John 14)
- he assures us following him is truly for our good and what we're made for. (John 10, Matthew 11:28-30) end 🧵

1. Hearing God's voice is about following God's voice. Are you truly willing to follow what he says?
2. God never contradicts what he has already said in Scripture (2 Tim 3:16, James 1:17)
